ISLAND GARDENS, MIAMI, A YACHTING RESORT HOSTS PALM BEACH MASTER BROKERS FORUM DINNER
Panel Discussion on “Fractional Ownership - Facts and Opportunities”
PALM BEACH, FL – The Palm Beach Master Brokers Forum (MBF), an organization comprised of South Florida’s top residential real estate agents, recently held a dinner and panel discussion focusing on the rising popularity of fractional residence ownership. Fractional investments are an entry to the high-end luxury marketplace and target wealthy clientele who enjoy the affluent lifestyle without the responsibility of full ownership. Currently there are 267 fractional ownership clubs around the world.
Flagstone Property Group and its extraordinary Island Gardens, Miami, A Yachting Resort sponsored the event, which began with a cocktail reception, followed by the panel discussion and dinner. Philip Freedman, vice president of residential sales for The Residences at Island Gardens, welcomed the members and guests, and made a brief presentation prior to the panel discussion.
The panel discussion, "Fractional Ownership - Facts and Opportunities" was moderated by C. Gerald Goldstein, founder of the Palm Beach National Bank & Trust Company, and director/chairman of the First Bank of the Palm Beaches. The panelists included Edward De Valle II, president and CEO of Americans Media Group, a global marketing and media placement agency; Jesse Keenan, a partner with the law firm of Baker Cronig & Keenan, LLP whose projects include both vacation and urban fractional development projects around the U.S. and the Caribbean; and James Whitteron, a partner with Spring Creek Partners and an innovator in the field of fractional residence development.
“The excitement over fractional residences has gone from ‘buzz’ to phenomenon in a very short time, and we were delighted to learn more about them from this esteemed panel,” said Paula Silberberg, chair of the Palm Beach MBF. “We extend our gratitude to Flagstone Property Group for their tremendous support of the broker community, and for educating us on this fascinating trend.”
